Local Attractions

  • We are only 5 minutes south of Tyler Bend & 6 minutes from Grinders Ferry of the middle river district of the Buffalo National River. You can float, fish, or swim. We highly recommend all three to fully enjoy this beautiful river! During the cooler months of fall, you can take in the fall colors on a leisurely float.  Don't forget to watch for elk in the fields on your way to the river from your cabin.
  •  Rent canoes, kayaks, or rafts from Buffalo River Outfitters -call 800.582.2244 or Silver Hill Float Service -call 870.439.2372.

There are many places to park and enjoy the beautiful view and pristine water on your way to Richland Creek and the campground area. Richland Creek "may be one of the most beautiful streams in the state."
